  1. INTRODUCTION

  3. Thank you for evaluating our software product.  This
  4. program is actively being maintained.  The product
  5. was thoroughly tested; however, like all software, some 
  6. minor 'bugs' and irritants will inevitably be uncovered 
  7. with its widespread use.  As coding errors and problems 
  8. are reported to us, we will correct them and we will
  9. release regular updates of the software.  If you 
  10. discover a problem, however small, please let us know 
  11. so that we can fix it. If you send us an emal message, 
  12. we will advise you, if and by when the error can be fixed,
  13. or whether it has already been fixed in the latest version.
  14. Upon registration, a master diskette with the latest 
  15. software will be supplied.

  25. MANUAL, USER GUIDE

  27. If your registered version of the software includes a 
  28. print file of the User Guide (and no printed hard copy),
  29. you can print the manual on any Windows compatible printer.
  30. Open the Windows Write program, open the MANUAL.WRI file
  31. (located in the application's directory), and print the
  32. file.

  35. IMPORTANT
  36.  
  37. The program includes a WINSOCK.DLL file.  This is a 
  38. null file that must be left in the Webpen directory.  
  39. DO NOT move or copy this file to the Windows\System 
  40. or other directory where it could overwrite your main 
  41. Winsock.dll.

  44. INSTALLATION AND SETUP
  45.  
  46. 1.  Start Windows.
  47. 2.  Open the Program Manager.
  48. 3.  From the File menu, choose Run.
  49. 4.  In the Command Line type one of the following:
  50.     -  If the software is on a diskette, type A:\SETUP
  51.        (assuming your floppy drive is A:).
  52.     -  If the extracted software is on the hard disk,
  53.         type C:\DIRECTORY\SETUP (where DIRECTORY is
  54.         the actual directory that holds the software
  55.         files).
  56. 5.  Choose OK.
  57. 6.  Follow the prompts.

  61. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE VBRUN300.DLL
  62.  
  63. If you are installing the master diskette that you
  64. received after registration, ignore this section;
  65. your diskette includes the VBRUN300.DLL
  66.  
  67. This program requires the VBRUN300.DLL file. If you 
  68. do not already have this file in your Windows\System 
  69. directory, obtain a free copy of the file from your 
  70. online service, BBS or distributor.

  73. OLE FILES FOR WORD SPELLER
  74.  
  75. If you use the MS Word spellchecker, the following files 
  76. should exist in the Windows\System directory:
  77.  
  78. COMPOBJ.DLL, MSOLE2.VBX, MSOLEVBX.DLL, OLE2.REG, OLE2.DLL,
  79. OLE2CONV.DLL, OLE2DISP.DLL, OLE2NLS.DLL, OLE2PROX.DLL,
  80. STORAGE.DLL,VBOA300.DLL.  Most of these file will already 
  81. be on your machine.  If the files are missing, copy 
  82. them from the registered software diskette, or contact 
  83. Informatik Inc.

  85. You also need to make sure that the OLE 2.0 is registered 
  86. on your machine and that the SHARE.EXE is installed in 
  87. your AUTOEXEC.BAT file (the SHARE.EXE is not required if
  88. you use Windows for Workgroups).  The OLE 2.0 is registered 
  89. with the following command line: REGEDIT /S OLE2.REG.

  114. The screen tells you how to register the software.

  117. Registration, Copyright window.  Please, also read
  118. the REGISTER.TXT file.  This file provides more 
  119. information about payment options, such as credit
  120. cards, non-US currencies, non-convertible currencies,
  121. etc. Please register and support the shareware concept!
